Multiple Uses of Ferkar Mill
The Ferkar mill can also be used in commercial flour mill to increase the range of products offered, which includes whole grain semolina, whole grain flour and corn meal. This products are made in one pass with simple spouting to and from the machine.
The particle size is very narrow, with fewer fines/overs compared with other particle reduction systems.
Bran Reduction
The Ferkar mill can also be used for bran reduction in a commercial flour mill where it also replaces a hammermill.
Screenings
Ferkar mill can replace hammermills for mill screenings. The Ferkar mill draws 8 amps, replacing a 60-hp hammermill and air system, with total energy savings of over 100-hp.

Whole Grain Flour
As Ferkar mill does not need any other equipment to make flour and because of its efficiency and simplicity of use it is suitable for all workshops, small or large.
It makes whole wheat flour from grain in one pass. No nutrients are lost in this milling process.

Cooler operating temperatures result in optimal starch damage when milling whole wheat flour.
After being ground, flour is immediately used to make final pastry products.
The valuable nutrients of the whole grain and the wealth of vitamins in the germ are all only present in freshly ground flour. Even just a few hours after milling, many of these valuable substances are lost.
